Leader’s Meeting Notes July 8th

We will start using this site for most of our communications. Leader’s meeting notes will be posted there, calendar of events for pack and individual dens, pictures, forms, any information about outings, etc. This will make all of our lives much easier. Parents will be able to obtain information at their leisure.
Health Forms:
Everyone in the Pack need to fill out a health form including all family members that will take part in any event the pack does. This is mandatory for everyone; you can print off copies from our website.
Round-up:
Jody and Mike will attend the July 24th round-up training meeting
They will also take charge of round-up in the school
David will take care of promoting our round-up in the community
Tentative date of August 21st
All leaders need to attend our round-up
Grimes Canoe Base Trip:
Tentative date of August 25th
Details to be worked out at August leaders meeting
Henry Horton Campout:
Tentatively scheduled for September 15th
Need more information from Tim Cochran, firm up date at next leader’s meeting
Area III Cub & Family:
October 12-14th @ Boxwell Reservation
Sissy Fugate will be our camping coordinator for pack food
Pack Checking Account:
Karen, Mike & Jody filed out all required paperwork to place them on the account
Jody will type up a letter stating that the Pack Leaders voted and assert that these changes were approved by the pack.
Karen will start receiving the statements, Jody will retain the checkbook
Karen will give pack account updates at Pack meetings and/or website
Pack Meeting Schedule:
Remain the 3rd Tuesday of each month @ 7:00pm at Lakeview Elementary
Leader’s meeting Schedule:
Remain the 1st Sunday of the month at @ 2:00pm at Lakeview Elementary
Other Items of Interest:
· Jody will speak with Angela Estes about Popcorn Chairman
· Leader’s decided on Pack T-shirts, orders will be taken before 1st Pack meeting so ordering can take place soon after. Cost will be $10 per shirt
· Blue and Gold Banquet will be held at the Craig Dinning Hall at Boxwell, cost is $160 for dinning hall and kitchen for the day - Tentatively scheduled for February 23rd – Jody will reserve
· Pack will take part in Toys-for-Tots campaign in December, Boys will be given their pinewood derby kits as a reward for participation in this program
